39 If any animal from which you may eat dies, whoever touches the carcass shall be unclean until the evening. 40 And the person who eats of the carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening. The person who carries the carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening.

41 Every crawling thing that moves on the ground shall be detestable. It shall not be eaten.
